Esmée is a 150-seat restaurant on Kongens Nytorv in central Copenhagen, developed in close collaboration with chef Andreas Bagh. Inspired by the spirit of La Belle Époque, the restaurant is conceived as an urban orangery, light-filled, layered, and open to its courtyard garden. A palette of greens, soft neutrals, and rich natural materials shapes a warm, textural interior. Wicker lighting, indoor trees, and vintage details support a fluid transition between indoors and out. Anchored by a plum-coloured bar and open kitchen, Esmée offers a sequence of dining zones that shift with the day, from informal moments to celebratory gatherings.
